The Magenta Membrane protects wounds while reducing pain and promoting healing, something sorely needed in the treatment of lacerations, burns, ulcers, and skin problems like eczema.
Our patented process creates a flexible yet protective membrane from the world’s most abundant sugar – glucosamine. When applied to painful cuts, burns, or ulcers the Magenta Membrane reduces pain and promotes healing. The Magenta Membrane also stops, reverses, and heals eczema for which all treated have been thankful. While not for every stage of wound care, the Magenta Membrane will be a new standard in managing chronic ulcers, post-surgical suture lines, chronic eczema, and burns.
Flexibility of the Magenta Membrane
The Magenta membrane is strong and flexible, under 1 mm thick, for comfort and protection as a wound dressing. Because it is made of a natural sugar polymer, your body’s healing immune cells are drawn towards the sheet of glucosamine over the wound bringing good enzymes and eliminating bacteria. What this means to you is the Magenta Membrane has a natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect on skin so your pain is gradually decreased and your healing is hastened.

The point prevalence estimated for hand eczema in the general population is around 4%; the 1-year prevalence nearly 10%. However, less than half of patients with hand eczema actually seek medical advice and treatment.
Eczema is manageable.
Clinical signs and symptoms of chronic eczema include redness, swelling, blistering with ulceration, flakiness or scaliness, cracking, infection, itching, and pain (Scalone et al., 2014).
If you have eczema, you are not alone - there are 4% of 200 million patients who we know seek reimbursable treatment for eczema lesions, or 8,000,000 patients in the U.S. Topical steroid application is the predominant mode of treatment (Ellis et al, 2002; below). However, more than half are refractory to this standard type of treatment.
